Going for Broke… or Not!

Bankruptcy is never a pleasant process — but dealing with the issues involved is now
much less painful technologically at the new US Bankruptcy Court in Modesto where

 
Snader & Associates’ Systems Group (SSG) provided video teleconferencing system
migration installation service. In the new location, the Courtroom now supports a
high definition video teleconferencing system efficiently building upon portions of the
existing standard definition material from the old Courtroom.
Ten speakers were ceiling recessed mounted, while an HD camera was wall mounted
using existing mounting hardware. Two HD cameras were located on the Judge's
stand (desk), while an additional HD camera was custom mounted on an existing
display monitor stand.
All high definition cameras were routed to an HD video switcher and then routed to
the owner-furnished HD Codec. Images from the Codec shall were displayed on 2
existing 42" monitors, as well as on an existing 15" monitor, and on a 10" touch
panel.
Seven existing wired microphones were located throughout the courtroom and were
routed to a mixer/processor system at the main equipment head end. The
Courtroom was provided with 7 wall plates.
An AMX Control system was use for this installation. Basic system programming was
performed for control of the Extron video switcher , the Polycom HD Codec with
SoundStructure, and the Biamp mixer/processor. The Courtroom system is controlled
via a 10” AMX Touch panel and an 8” wireless touch panel. Touch panels also
control camera visibility, as well as local audio volume within the Courtroom.
Snader provides a full range of services and therefore also performed disassembly
and transportation of the existing system (as required for job completion) under a
separate contract.
